About me

amaru de la motta Psychologist hypnotherapeute bruxellesAs a therapist my journey began with my own therapists, and it’s only after I’d worked in various domains such as photography, computers and education that I went back to university, having travelled and lived many walks of life.

It’s been 15 years now that I help people overcome different problems in their life navigation.

These problems can be about bad winds, cross currents and storms. Or crew’s fights and struggles.
Sometimes it would be about leaving harbour’s comfort, cast off and set a new course.
Or returning safely to port for rest and reparations.

Psychologist (U.L.B.), trained in Brief Therapy, in systemics, hypnosis (I.M.H.E.B.) and NLP (Institut Ressources) my therapeutic style is as pragmatic as possible, goals oriented.
Through strategic support and interactive dialogue we’ll seek new options to explore and experiment so that you can implement your own solutions. Psychologist Uccle

A psychologist to help you…

A psychologist is a professional that looks after the troubles, complex or not, which affect our emotions, our stability, our well-being, and our “state of mind”.

The aim of having therapy is so that you feel relieved from one or more of the problems which are weighing you down and which had been unmanageable for you.

Therapy allows you to put into words things which will let you draw a line under these problems, or find the causes and explanations which will make you stronger and more able to manage your emotions towards these problems.

As a natural consequence, your general state will improve, you will regain confidence in yourself, and move forward on the path of well-being.

Symptoms of worry, stress

Human beings are by nature frequently subjected to fear: a threatening situation, moments in life categorised by uncertainty, and apprehension – there are so many moments which generate a feeling of fear or danger.
